One of the concerns we’ve heard from many of you has been the slow loading times of our widgets. We really appreciate your feedback and comments in helping us improve in this area. So, today we addressed this issue by rolling out new code that ultimately delivers faster loading widgets.

It is very important to note that this update will require action on your part. You will need to update code of your existing widgets for the speedier load times to take affect on your site, blog or network. Know that changing the code will not impact earnings for any of your widgets.

Here are the two steps you’ll need to follow:

1. Sign-in to http://widgetbucks.com and go to My Widgets
2. For each active widget, simply edit and re-copy the code block into your site or blog (the same steps you went through when you created the widgets originally)

Another option for updating code is to utilize the new categories and ad sizes we’ve incorporated over the last few weeks. Modifying a widget’s size or category — or creating an entirely new widget for that matter — will generate the new code that can then be re-copied to your site or blog.

Also, if you have questions specific to your WidgetBucks account, email us at help [at] widgetbucks [dot] com. We will do our best to back to you within 24 hours. If you have a general comment or need something clarified that can help you and perhaps other publishers, feel free to post a comment on this blog.

The new code DOES NOT contain a link back to Widgetbucks! Notice they fail to mention the real issue, that WidgetBucks Got Banned by Google!

Besides THIS DEBACLE here are a list of 5 more reasons why Google isn’t a good boyfriend:

Ahhh! What started out as a great day,( thanks to last night), has spiralled into quite possibly the worst day for Google and me EVER!

Here it goes:

I googled myself (Yes, I do it often..need to make sure Google still loves me!): Google’s Girlfriend, and thankfully I’m still #1. Where I should be! BUT right there at #4 is a video…and check out the title, “My Ex-Girlfriend Lucy shows off her pu–y“.

Is this Google’s idea of joke? Why is he broadcasting this video of his ex-girlfriend? He needs to have some kind of spam filter when it comes to revealing his past relationships.

I’m soooo Pi$$ed right now..I can’t even type!

Dear Yahoo,

I get it..you like me. Your flirtacious ways have not gone unnoticed. I see that you are gaining some momentum in the ad spend race…you had a great summer…and my boyfriend did not. Big Deal. The truth is, I love Google, and I wouldn’t even consider putting my pennies in your bag..so take your boring 3rd Qtr gains and go try to attract someone else..because I’m Google’s girlfriend..and no matter what…I would NEVER date you.

P.S. I will NEVER go to Panama with you…quit asking!

Somebody’s getting older! Happy Birthday to the best boyfriend a girl could ever ask for!

I’m going out tonight! Google and I are hitting the town, NYC Style! I’m getting my make-up done, hair blown out and a new dress. (Black or Red…whaddaya think?) Google is on the guest list at all the amazing clubs in the city. You know..the ones that you usually have to wait outside for hours for…It’s Freaking Amazing! Dating Google comes with the most awesome perks!
